Good vs. Bad Behavior Skits

Students brainstormed positive classroom/hallway procedures and negative classroom/hallway procedures.  They created a skit that showed the students using integrity and following directions.  Then, they pretend to not show responsibility and not follow the procedures.  In this picture, you can see students brainstorming their skits.

Ice Cream Honesty

Leaders of the Pack teaches students several character development traits.  This months trait was honesty. To help students learn about honesty, the teacher used ice cream as a metaphor.  The teacher scooped ice cream and poured salt all over it.  Then, covered it with ice cream.  This is similar to how we lie.  We do something we should not do (salt), then cover it up (the lie).  The teacher then let students taste the ice cream.  Then, she took a paper towel and soaked up the salt.  When we do lie, we can go back and try to fix it.  However, the best thing to do is not lie in the first place.  Then, you get a yummy bowl of ice cream!
